The Surry project involved the transformation of the heritage listed, former 20th Century Fox Film Corporation headquarters into a boutique mixed-use development.

The architecture of the residential level additions were designed by Bates Smart to be responsive and recessive to the scale and form of the original building.

The heritage component of the building was sensitively transformed to incorporate 2 levels of open plan commercial office space beneath 14 luxury apartments.
